YOUTH GROUP

"You May Ask What Is Our Goal”

Higher Power Outreach Church is dedicated to enriching the lives of our youth. We provide youth directed activities and fellowship in addition to teaching the unadulterated Word of God.

Youth Pastor would like to invite you to come and participate in our Wednesday
night bible study as well as any of our other activities.

This year we have covered various subjects including Sexuality, The Rapture, Evangelism, and The Holy Spirit.

G.L.O.R.Y. had its first meeting Wednesday January 5, 2000. Christine Miles was elected president and Kamisha McCoy is the Vice President and Alexis Hunter is the Chaplain and Secretary.

G.L.O.R.Y. has put on several programs including:
Black History Program, Resurrection Sunday Program, Beautification Saturday, Friday Night Movies, and recreational activities. We look forward to doing even greater things in the future with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Our mission is to EXPOSE youth to a relationship with Jesus Christ, ENCOURAGE them in maturing in that relationship, and EMPOWER them to share the love of that relationship with others.

Our objectives are to help youth develop daily devotion habits, develop a knowledge of Christ and His function in our daily lives, to develop a boldness to witness, and develop leadership qualities in our youth.

The Higher Power Outreach Church’s youth group G.L.O.R.Y. meets every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Our business meetings are on the first Wednesday of the month.
