I'm Pastor Johnnie C. Robinson Jr. I
have Pastored throughout Russell County, and ten years in
Germany, and now here in Phenix City, Alabama. I serve as
Senior Pastor of the Higher Power Outreach Church, and Director
of the only homeless shelter in Phenix City known as House of
Restoration.
How wonderful it is "how pleasant
for God's people to live in harmony." These words spoken by the
Psalmist (PS 133:1) are still true today. Regardless of
denominational status lets appreciate and value each other's
faith.
Higher Power Outreach Church has a
vision for "At Risk" families and individuals. Those the
world calls trash - we treasure: the poor, homeless, battered,
cast-a-ways, and anyone else that comes to mind. In
addition, to teaching them about the power to change through
Jesus Christ, we also, teach reading, writing, and job
interviewing techniques. We train leaders to be effective
in the community. All of this moves our cities and towns
forward for the Lord Jesus Christ.
You may be asking, what does this
pastor really want? I want to provide good ministry through
worship, caring for the homeless, and providing for families.
